Pistol/Handgun: The
handgun has been around and popular for hundreds of years. Their popularity grew
rapidly in our country in the mid 1800's with the settling of the western United
States. They were small, convenient, and served multiple uses. The handgun is
most commonly known for its use by all enforcement agencies beginning with your
local police. Today their popularity is again growing, for personal protection,
competitive sport shooting and hunting. Some of the competitive sports using
